I've had my braces for 4 months now and my teeth are moving quicker than I thought. Our underbites are similar, like you my two bottom canines are also long, the one on the left has now completely moved back, the one on the right is getting there. Just wear your elastics as much as you can. Also my orthodontist spoke about possible teeth extractions did they mention that to you?

Thanks for doing this video. I got my braces like the day everything locked down, so I've been spending my time at home with my parents (I'm a college student). I haven't gone out much and have been wearing a mask. I did see a friend from high school out at the park and maintained social distance, but I've found that since I wear the mask, I have a lot more confidence. I have yet to smile and show the braces even on a facetime with friends since I wear the mask. Was it hard for you the first few times to just let the smile go and show all of the hardware in your mouth? I don't know if it's a blessing or curse - from an embarrassment standpoint - that I got my braces on when I did! Please let me know. By the way, you look great in yours! - Teenie
